How to Clean the Seat Cushions on a Glider

The glider that is average sees its fair share of wear and tear, stains and spit-ups. As unsightly as soiled areas is to the eye, you can not forget about the germs and bacteria that may just be residing in the fabric of the chair cushions, too. Unfortunately, some gliders don’t have covers that unzip from the cushions, though others may just be too large to fit to a washing machine without the risk of tearing or deformation. On the other hand, the cleaning of the seat cushions of a glider is not a lost cause.

Vacuum the chair cushions, getting up to any cracks as possible with the attachments, to eliminate crumbs, dust and other debris that may have accumulated.

Wipe down the seat cushions with baby wipes of the glider. Not only do they provide complementary amounts of water and soap, however, the wipes are mild and any moisture left behind disappears rapidly.

Produce a stain-removing solution of 1 part dish washing hydrogen peroxide. Without vibration 8, mix the solution together.

Saturate the stained areas and permit the cleaner. Remove any excess formula that may remain on the surface of the cushion with a clean, damp cloth.

Clean the upholstery of the chair cushions. This can remove dirt and grime that is observable while additionally trapping the fabric and removing allergens.
